This year the Transition Year class in Moville Community College has been participating in the Formula 1 in Schools project. They have been successful in reaching one of the regional heats and will be competing against other school on 19th March in Dublin. In order to qualify for this competition they had to design a scale model of a formula 1 car, having done some research into aerodynamics. A five page plan had to be formulated including a marketing plan, a PR plan, as well as the design and engineering. We have sent our design via e-mail to Letterkenny IT for manufacture.
